Safety Xavier McKinney has spoken about his upcoming free agent status.
The 24-year-old is available from Monday onwards. Drafted in 2020, McKinney has started 46 out of a possible 49 games.
Many teams will covet McKinney's signature. The Alabama product could receive several offers from interested teams.
But McKinney has one particular team in mind. McKinney told the Up & Adams show, "I'm big for the New York Giants right now. That's where I want to be.
"I've expressed that I want to return, but ultimately, it's not all up to me. Hopefully, we can get something done."
The Giants drafted McKinney in 2020. He has played his entire career with 'Big Blue.'
New York chose not to franchise tag McKinney, so they must compete with other teams for his signature.
Nonetheless, McKinney left the door open for other options, saying, "But if something can't get done, then I need to weigh my other options."
