Ye Joon Kim has vowed to 'crush' Naoya Inoue when the pair meet for the undisputed super bantamweight title.
They will go head-to-head in Tokyo on Friday, live on ESPN+ (US only), with Kim being a last minute replacement opponent for Inoue.
The Japanese superstar was originally set to face Sam Goodman, but a cut above his left eye in training camp forced him to withdraw.

Inoue, who is one of the world's best pound-for-pound fighters, is undefeated in his 28 fights as a professional, with 25 of those coming by way of knockout, and he will be a huge favourite to win at Ariake Arena.
If Kim manages to upset "The Monster", it will be one of the biggest upsets in recent memory and speaking to Top Rank ahead of the contest, the South Korean is feeling confident that he can topple one of the world's best.
“I’m different from all the boxers he fought before me,” Kim said.
“It’s my time, I’ll crush him.”
Since losing to Rob Diezel two years ago, Kim has shown that his hands can do all the talking with his last two fights ending in knockout wins, but whether his power can trouble Inoue remains to be seen.
