One fighter keeps on winning.

Erislandy Lara was expected to receive a stern test from Michael Zerafa, but he was too powerful for the Australian as he scored a second-round stoppage.

The veteran Cuban was defending his world middleweight title, and he wasted no time as he made an empathic statement with a brutal performance.

Lara, 40, is the oldest world champion in boxing and he has a wealth of experience after sharing the ring with many great names.

Ten years ago, Lara pushed Canelo Alvarez to the limit, but he was defeated via split decision and he’s still competing at the highest level.

Lara has plenty of options at 160lbs and after defeating Zerafa, he’ll be keen to secure another huge fight.

Middleweight is a division that is wide open at this current time, but Lara will be confident that he can prove himself to be the best at 160lbs.
