A domestic grudge match between former world champions Amir Khan and Kell Brook has taken another step towards becoming a reality.
According to reports from the Daily Star, the pair are set to meet on February 19th in Manchester, England.
The purse split has been agreed upon and there are now just a number of minor issues which need resolving before contracts are signed.
It is also believed the fight will take place at 147lbs or a catchweight at light middleweight.
In the eyes of many boxing fans this is a fight which has come a few years too late. Even five years ago this clash would have captured the imagination of the British public, but with both men past their prime and looking for one last pay day, it's a fight which is receiving plenty of criticism from fans and experts.
