Who is Andy Lee? Get to know DAZN's broadcast team and starsDAZN

As the home of boxing around the world, there's no shortage of cracking entertainment streamed across the globe at DAZN, both in and out of the ring.

While hundreds work behind the scenes to ensure the very best in combat sports coverage, there are a handful of faces and voices familiar to millions.

Here, get to know your on-screen stars better, such as Andy Lee, with our handy profiles explaining who they are, how to catch them on DAZN and more.

Who is Andy Lee?

Andy Lee was one of the foremost popular boxers of the early century, a former WBC middleweight world champion and division favourite for over a decade.

The Irishman has been a member of the DAZN broadcast team for some years now, offering his key insights from a career as both a fighter and a trainer.

A second cousin of Tyson Fury, he has been closely associated with the Gypsy King since hanging up his gloves, and has worked closely with the star's camp too.

As well as Fury, Lee acts as trainer with several leading fighters including heavyweight Joseph Parker.

Where can you catch Andy Lee on DAZN?

At DAZN, Lee is a regular contributor to commentary and punditry among the team, and can frequently be found offering his insights during fight week and fight night.

That includes coverage of the grand arrivals, public and media workouts, press conferences and weigh-ins, as well as action on the big cards themselves.

What else has Andy Lee done in his career?

Lee made his name as a fighter, following his professional debut in 2006, fighting on the undercard of Chris Byrd vs. Wladimir Klitschko II in just his second bout.

He subsequently won the Irish super-middleweight title the following year, but lost on his first challenge for a world title against Julio César Chávez Jr. in 2012.

Lee would, however, make the leap to world champion when he took the vacant WBO middleweight title against Matt Korobov in 2014 before he retained it in a draw with Peter Quillin.

He lost the title to Billy Joe Saunders in late 2015, and would fight one more time before he retired in 2017 after facing KeAndrae Leatherwood.
