A fight with former WBC world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder may not be next for Andy Ruiz Jr., but the 33-year-old is still confident that the contest can be made and has named the price required to make it happen.
Wilder and Ruiz were set to meet at some point this year in an eliminator for Tyson Fury's WBC title, but the fight failed to materialise.
Now it is unclear when it comes to who Ruiz will face next, but he is still eager to face Wilder for the right price.
"I’ll fight him for $10 million,” Ruiz told Fight Hub TV.
“They try to tell me they’ll offer me this or that, but it’s all bull s—t.
"They all know I’m a threat. They all know I’m a threat. Everybody knows I’m a threat."
While Ruiz's future plans are currently unknown, it's expected that Wilder will face Anthony Joshua next in what would be one of the biggest heavyweight fights in recent memory.
