Former world champion and fan-favorite Angel Acosta will headline the second Golden Boy Fight Night on DAZN on May 12 as he faces his fellow countryman, Janel Rivera, at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, Calif. on May 12.

Acosta (22-3-1, 21 KOs), the former WBO light flyweight champion, heads in having won two of his last three contests. In his previous outing, he came up short to current WBO flyweight titleholder Junto Nakatani via fourth-round TKO in September. Now, Acosta looks to forge a path to another world title opportunity.
Standing in the way of that is Rivera (18-8-3, 11 KOs), who is looking to get back on track, having lost five straight.
