A post-war record crowd will fill the national landmark for the hotly anticipated heavyweight contest tonight.

Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois will make history and break records when they meet for the latter's IBF heavyweight title tonight at Wembley Stadium.

The former is bidding to become a three-time world champion against his fellow Briton at the national landmark, and returns to the site of some of his greatest victories.

But regardless of the result in the ring, one thing assured is a record-breaking crowd that will shatter the postwar figure for a boxing match in the United Kingdom.

So just what will the attendance be for Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois tonight?

What will the attendance be at Wembley Stadium for Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois?

Tonight's attendance for Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois will be a reported 96,000 - one of the biggest ever crowds for a sporting event in the United Kingdom.

The figure exceeds Wembley Stadium's official capacity, as there will be additional room for attendees on the playing surface around the ring itself.

It will mark the biggest crowd for both Joshua and Dubois across their careers, and the biggest for any boxing match held in the country since 1945.

What are the prior attendance records at Wembley Stadium?

The current iteration of Wembley Stadium has hosted four professional boxing cards before, with several of them successively taking the postwar record each time.

The first bout held at Wembley was Carl Froch vs. George Groves II in May 2014 with a reported crowd of 80,000. Anthony Joshua won on the undercard against Matt Legg.

Joshua would headline the next fight at the venue three years later, when defeated Wladimir Klitschko in April 2017 in front of a reported 90,000 in attendance, taking the record.

The Briton did not better himself a year later against Alexander Povetkin in September 2018 however, drawing a reported 78,000 to watch his world title defence.

But heavyweight rival Tyson Fury did top his efforts in 2022 when he held an all-British bout with Dillian Whyte in April 2022, claiming victory before a reported 94,000 fans.

Tonight's clash however will set a new record for the sport with 96,000, becoming the second most-attended single-day event at Wembley Stadium following Adele's 2017 concert.
