Anthony Joshua has named his top three heavyweight not including himself and there’s no surprise to see that Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury occupy the top two spots.

Joshua returns to the ring this Saturday night, exclusively live on DAZN, and if he can get past the threat of Jermaine Franklin, then it’s likely that the 2012 Olympic champion will be targeting the division's best names.

Joshua’s current rebuild follows two fights with Usyk that first saw the Warford man lose his world titles to the Ukrainian in 2021 before failing to get revenge in a rematch the following year.

A keen student of the weight class he operates in, Joshua is well aware of what lies ahead for him, and he made that clear when providing reporters with his top three.

“Usyk, Fury, and myself,” said Joshua when speaking with selected members of the media ahead of his fight with Franklin.

“Minus me, Usyk, Fury and Wilder. Wilder’s a former champion.”
