Anthony Joshua returns to the ring on April 1 when he faces Jermaine Franklin, exclusively live on DAZN, as he begins his quest to regain the world heavyweight title.
Joshua will have Derrick James in his corner for the first time and the Texas based coach is enjoying his new role as the 2012 Olympic gold medallist's trainer.
With Franklin the immediate priority for both Joshua and Franklin, the opportunity to secure bigger fights moving can only be achieved with Joshua gaining victory.
Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury, long-time rivals of Joshua, are likely to be mentioned at some point this year and James has had his say on the pair when speaking on The DAZN Boxing Show.
“I think both them bring two different dynamics,” said James when speaking to Ak and Barak.
“Wilder brings a lot of power. He’s quick and he’s an athlete also. Fury brings a different skillset. I think they both bring different elements of boxing for Anthony Joshua.”
