Anthony Joshua has no interest in training alongside Tyson Fury.

The retired WBC champion has repeatedly invited his rival to spend time with him in the gym ahead of his Aug. 20 rematch with Oleksandr Usyk. Joshua was defeated by the Ukrainian last September and has made multiple changes to his team ahead of the key clash next month.

Instead of accepting Fury’s offer, Joshua has enlisted the help of legendary coach Robert Garcia as he looks to become a three-time heavyweight world champion in Saudi Arabia.

If Fury reverses his retirement decision, he may face ‘AJ’ next year, but for now, the 2012 Olympic gold medallist sees no point in having Fury onboard his team.

“Is there anything I could learn from him? Honestly, no, not really,” said Joshua when speaking to The Mirror. “For a man that’s retired, go and have a beer, relax, go and help some people who need it. What are you talking about me for?

“He’s an interesting character, but I wouldn’t take his help as well. I’ve done my thing. He has done his, and good luck to him whatever he’s doing.”
