Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois: AJ reveals when fight 'gets real' for himMatchroom Boxing

Things don't get real for Anthony Joshua until he's ready to make his walk to the ring.

The former two-time world heavyweight champion is preparing for his upcoming bout against Daniel Dubois, with Joshua will challenging his fellow Briton for the IBF title live on DAZN on Saturday.

It's a huge fight for both men as it sets up a potential title unification bout for the winner, but it's also big because of the setting — roughly 96,000 fans are expected to gather at Wembley Stadium for the event.

While the occasion is a big one, accompanied by all the build-up expected of such a major event, Joshua says it's not until the final moments that the fight comes true for him.

“Massive," Joshua said of the occasion at the grand arrivals on Tuesday. "It doesn’t feel it at the minute because I’m still in like training camp.

"On Saturday I’m going to be standing behind a curtain and they’re going to say, ‘Anthony – ten seconds’, and I’m going to walk out into the stadium and I’m going to feel that energy. That’s when it gets real.

"At the minute we’re still hours away so I’m chilled out."
