Carl Froch believes Daniel Dubois is the favourite against Anthony Joshua.
The two heavyweights fight on September 21, live on DAZN, with Dubois’ IBF heavyweight belt on the line.
Joshua is a two-time heavyweight champion with an impressive career despite three losses so far, while Dubois has two defeats to his name.
The winner at Wembley could consider themselves the rightful challenger to the winner of the Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury rematch which is scheduled to take place in December.
Speaking to bestanonymouscasinos.com , Froch explained why he is backing the incumbent to win.
He said: “Listen, this fight, this fight can go either way.
“I don't want to give a prediction that I'm going to stand by because you get word from around the camp and you get a little snippet back from sparring, and then you see them at the press conference and you see the demeanour and seeing Dubois face off with AJ, standing and saying; ‘Listen, you don't intimidate me, can't intimidate me’, and then AJ's response, it's 1-0 to Dubois for me.
“And if there's more of that as the fight closes in, I'm going to be like this is Dubois, he’s confident, he's young, he's fresh, he's hungry, punches hard and AJ looks a bit nervous, so that would make me say, listen, Dubois is going into this fight as the underdog, but actually, in real terms he is the favourite.”
