George Groves has reluctantly picked Anthony Joshua to dethrone Daniel Dubois when the pair finally face off this weekend.
The Wembley Stadium blockbuster, live on DAZN, will see Joshua look to become a three-time heavyweight champion against one of his biggest domestic rivals.
Joshua enters the fight in impressive form after rebuilding his career following consecutive losses to Oleksandr Usyk.
Groves, a former world champion at super-middleweight, sees ways Dubois can win, but he’s still backing Joshua to somehow get the job done.
"In the past, we have seen Joshua unravel a little bit. When he gets caught now, does he have the experience to weather the storm and get himself back in the fight? Asked Groves when speaking to TNT Sports.
"Or is Dubois going to be too slick, too fresh, and be able to finish him? I'm not sure, I don't know, I'd pick Joshua to win this fight. But I'm not convinced. I'll go Joshua."
