Lawrence Okolie has spent time inside the ring with both Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois, and he’s leaning towards the former as they prepare for their battle.
Joshua and Dubois will collide this weekend, live on DAZN, in a heavyweight blockbuster at Wembley Stadium.
Dubois, the IBF champion, will be making his first title defence as he looks to register the biggest win of his career.
Okolie knows both men well after sparring multiple rounds with both and he’s offered his verdict on how things might play out this Saturday night.
“Daniel’s a young guy, full of ambition, made the most money he’s ever made and will be thinking ‘if I win this fight, then there’s millions to be made on the other side of it,’” said Okolie, the current WBC bridgerweight champion, when speaking to Betway.
“It’s a hard one but AJ should be the favourite. But as they say, in heavyweight boxing, one shot can change everything and especially when you’re talking about someone as concussive as Daniel Dubois.”
