Ngannou's head coach explains everything.

Francis Ngannou’s head coach has explained how Muhammad Ali is inspiring his fighter’s training program.

Ngannou will face Anthony Joshua on March 8 in Saudi Arabia as the two heavyweights meet just weeks after the undisputed clash between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.

Recent images have captured former UFC heavyweight champion Ngannou looking in imposing shape ahead of his second-ever professional fight - the first being his famous clash with Fury where the Briton was pushed hard.

Ngannou’s coach, Dewey Cooper, told Fruity Slots how the contender is going back to basics to get ready for the fight with Joshua.

He said: “We're going to chop wood, he's already chopping wood and working hard, we have gone back to the Jack Johnson, Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier old school training methods, paying in sweat equity.

“He's going to pound the pavement. Those guys in the fifties, sixties and seventies, they had an undying mentality.

“It wasn't always pretty but it was gritty.

“They had an unbreakable spirit and always fought to the end, and that is what Francis Ngannou has in his DNA.”
