Frazer Clarke is the latest boxer to have his say on a potential Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou fight and he’s backing his fellow Brit to get the job done.
Joshua impressed at the backend of 2023 with a dominant stoppage over Otto Wallin and it looks like he’ll get 2024 off to an explosive start by facing Ngannou.
The contest is speculated to take place in March, and it will see the former UFC star have his second professional contest.
Last year, Ngannou faced Tyson Fury and he almost caused a major upset as he dropped the WBC champion before losing narrowly on split decision. Clarke has offered his thoughts on the fight.
"The good thing is about that one [Ngannou], we've already had a look at him now," said Clarke when speaking to Sky Sports.
"Before Fury was like the tester. He had to get in there when he wasn't quite sure, and neither were we about what he was going to get.
"I think he [Joshua] can beat him and can beat him well.”
