Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk weighed in on Friday ahead of their fight on Saturday, with Joshua's IBF, WBA and WBO belts on the line.
The unified heavyweight kingpin came in at a lean 240 pounds while the former undisputed cruiserweight weighed a career-high 221.25 pounds. Joshua and Usyk had a friendly staredown which went off without incident.
This is Usyk's (18-0) third fight at heavyweight since moving up from cruiserweight. He's defeated Chazz Witherspoon and Derek Chisora since he made the trek up to the land of the giants.
The 31-year-old Joshua measures 6'6" and has displayed a slimmer frame than before, perhaps in anticipation of a slicker opponent than usual, given his rival's lighter background. "AJ" is coming off a ninth-round knockout win Kubrat Pulev in December to retain his three belts.
The pair fight on Saturday night at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with the winner likely to meet whomever comes away with the victory between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder in October.
