It doesn't matter that Anthony Joshua is fighting a late-replacement opponent in Robert Helenius instead of Dillian Whyte — Conor McGregor wants to be there.
The "Notorious" MMA superstar took to his X account Thursday and not only confirmed his ringside seat at the O2 Arena in London on Saturday night, but heaped praise onto AJ and Eddie Hearn for their business and more:
McGregor's Forged Irish Stout a sponsor of the Joshua-Helenius fight card. The post also shows that McGregor gifted the former unified world heavyweight champion with some spirits that he can perhaps enjoy if he's able to dispose of the veteran Helenius.
Eddie Hearn is excited about McGregor's attendance.
"He brought so much energy to Ireland last time," Hearn said, referring McGregor attending the Katie Taylor fight at the 3Arena in Dublin in May. "He was front row, he was up and down."
