Adam Azim has long been linked to a big fight with Dalton Smith, but it looks like the Slough star could fight Harlem Eubank next.
Azim and Eubank came face to face in the ring last month when they exchanged some words on the big Fabio Wardley vs. Frazer Clarke show to generate interest in their potential fight.
Purse bids have recently been called for a battle between Azim and Smith, but it appears that Azim will go in a different direction.
Smith impressed when stopping Jose Zepeda in March, and Shalom expects Azim vs. Smith to be ‘monster’ when it finally happens.
"I think the Harlem Eubank name and fight, at this stage of his career which is still very early on, is the right decision. Dalton Smith is a phenomenal fighter,” said Shalom when speaking on Sky Sports’ Toe to Toe podcast.
"For the real boxing fan, I get why Adam against Dalton is so mouth-watering, we all want it to happen. I think Adam Azim and Dalton Smith down the line will be an absolute monster."
