Blair Cobbs and Conor Benn are two of the welterweight division's rising stars, and a fight between the two could be made at some point down the line.
Speaking exclusively to The DAZN Boxing Show, Cobbs expressed his desire to face the British boxing star and believes it's a huge fight for the sport.
"I believe that fight is very realistic. That’s a multi-million dollar fight," Cobbs said.
"Matter of fact, that could be one of the biggest attractions in boxing for a very, very long time. We need to make sure that happens.
"How we make sure that happens? Blair ‘The Flair’ knocks out, not just box and outbox like Rashidi Ellis and go unseen, but it becomes a big attraction. Blair‘ The Flair’ knocks out Alexis Rocha in spectacular fashion and moves onto bigger and exciting fights, and one of the biggest and most exciting fights we have today will be Conor Benn vs. Blair ‘The Flair’."
Both Cobbs and Benn have been linked with former four-weight world champion Adrien Broner.
But when it came to discussing who would be the tougher test, Benn or Broner, Cobbs believes his fellow countryman will need to get back into fighting shape if he is to pose any sort of test inside the ring.
"Adrien Broner needs to be in shape. I talk to him pretty consistently.
"We got work on him getting in shape and getting back in the gym."
