The Top Rank CEO is aware of the threat Francis Ngannou poses.

Bob Arum has claimed that former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou is a bigger threat to Tyson Fury compared to his past fights with Dillian Whyte and Derek Chisora.

Ngannou is set to face the WBC world heavyweight champion in Saudi Arabia on October 28 in what will be his professional boxing debut.

The 37-year-old became a dominating force in the UFC due to his striking ability which led to some fans intrigued to see how Ngannou would fare inside a boxing ring.

However, with a lack of experience and bigger gloves, there are doubts as to whether Ngannou will pose a realistic threat to Fury, but Arum is adamanat this is a dangerous fight for the WBC title holder and claims that Ngannou hits harder than previous world title challengers Whyte and Chisora.

"Absolutely this is a more dangerous fight!" Arum told Pro Boxing Fans

"Ngannou hits harder than either Chisora or Dillian Whyte, and when you’re in with a puncher like that, and you’re not in perfect shape, that’s when you can get knocked out.

"Ngannou is a tremendous puncher, probably the best puncher in the history of the UFC. This is going to be a really interesting fight. It’s going to be very fun to watch.”

Fury fought Whyte and Chisora last year, and stopped both in the sixth and 10th round respectively.
