The reward for Vasiliy Lomachenko against George Kambosos Jr. this weekend is another world title shot, but could there be a bigger fight on the horizon?
Lomachenko travels to Australia to face the local favourite and a win could open the door for a showdown with Shakur Stevenson at the end of the year.
Last year, Lomachenko reminded fight fans of his impressive credentials when he pushed Devin Haney all the way before losing a narrow decision on the scorecards.
Stevenson is likely to fight this summer and if he can also claim a win, it could lead to a huge showdown.
"So, if Lomachenko wins and Shakur, who is scheduled to fight in July wins, then for the fall to do a Lomachenko-Shakur fight,” said Arum when speaking to Sky Sports.
“Every serious boxing fan will be watching that in awe between two great technicians fighting for a unified title."
