Tyson Fury’s next fight date is still unconfirmed, but Bob Arum has revealed two names who could be in the frame to face the WBC champion.
Arum, the American promoter of Fury, has enjoyed a busy weekend in New York where he saw Teofimo Lopez outpoint Josh Taylor, but the subject of Fury remains a constant topic for the veteran promoter.
Since seeing an undisputed clash with Oleksandr Usyk fall apart earlier this year, Fury has been linked to a number of heavyweights including Demsey McKean and Zhilei Zhang, but now it appears that Fury is going in a different direction.
Arum was pushed on Fury’s next fight, and it looks like Martin Bakole and Agit Kabayel are at the front of the queue.
“There’s a whole list [of possible opponents],” said Arum when speaking with IFLTV regarding Fury’s next move.
"You go down the list of contenders with the various organisations and pick one. This guy [Bakole] that beat Tony Yoka, he’s a good possibility. This Agit Kabayel, he’s a good opponent."
