Bryan Castano and Jermell Charlo meet this weekend with all the belts at stake.

Bryan Castano has vowed to “break” Jermell Charlo ahead of their undisputed super-welterweight clash this Saturday night.

The Argentine world champion has been in a confident mood going into this weekend’s intriguing rematch, and despite already sharing 12 rounds with Charlo, Castano maintains that he’s about to give the Texan a rough night on May 14th.

Last July, Castano and Charlo delivered a mini-classic in a memorable encounter that most believed was won by the South American.

Castano was on the front foot throughout, but his face was covered in shock when the result was announced as a draw, and it emerged that both fighters would leave the ring with the belts they entered with.

Castano is ready to do it all again and is insistent that being the away fighter is not going to impact the result.

“The crowd really isn’t a factor for me,” said Castano when speaking to BoxingScene. “While I appreciate the support, it’s all about me and him inside the ring. And I promise you, I’m gonna make him pay for everything that he has said and everything that happened in the first fight.

“I’m gonna break him and I’m gonna make him suffer. And that’s all that matters. It doesn’t matter if it’s in front of one, two, three hundred, or 20,000 people. What I have my sights set on is him and only him – me and him inside the ring, that’s all.”
