WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford has had his say on the upcoming undisputed super-middleweight clash between Caleb Plant and Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez.
Speaking to Fight Hub TV, Crawford was excited for what Plant has in store for the bright lights of the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
"It’s going to be a good fight. I’m excited to see it."
"I’m excited to see what Caleb Plant does."
When it comes to Plant's gameplan for the upcoming fight in Las Vegas, Crawford believes the IBF title holder needs to watch one of Canelo's old fights if he wants to beat the WBA, WBO and WBC 168lb champion.
"If he’s going to come in there and stand in front of Canelo, I think that would be a bad game plan," Crawford said.
"I think that he should utilise his skills and look at the GGG first fight and take bits and pieces from that fight and put it into his arsenal."
Canelo and Gennadiy Golovkin clashed in two epic fights in 2017 and 2018.
The first fight in September 2017 was a controversial draw with many fans believing Golovkin was a clear winner, while Canelo was victorious on the judges' scorecards when the two met in a rematch the following year.
