When it comes to looking at the career of Chris Eubank Jr, some will feel underwhelmed and disappointed.
Being the son of a British boxing legend should see a career fast racked and an easy incentive for landing the biggest fights possible.
However, despite call outs of Gennadiy Golovkin and Saul "Canelo" Alvarez to name a few from Eubank Jr, nothing has materialised whether it be verbal challenges going unanswered or deals collapsing at the negotiating table.

"Canelo" Alvarez was a name frequently mentioned by Eubank Jr earlier this year and there were rumours that negotiations had taken place for a fight between the two. However, a deal was not struck and both fighters went their separate ways.
It's no secret that Alvarez fights in May and September each year, and if Eubank Jr is able to beat Szeremeta, then a clear goal can be worked towards securing a date with the unified super middleweight champion.
Whether it be in Vegas or a stadium in the UK, a name of boxing significance such as Eubank Jr would bring even more eyeballs to an Alvarez fight week with interest from both sides of the Atlantic.
For Eubank Jr, it would be his first shot at a world title and a win over one of the world's best pound-for-pound fighters would catapult his career into the stratosphere.

Despite the cancellation of Eubank Jr's grudge match with Conor Benn two years ago , there is still a demand from British fight fans for these two rivals to go head-to-head.
Arguably, the fight is now bigger than it ever was in 2022, and with Benn looking to re-assert himself as a major player in boxing, a meeting with Eubank Jr could be just what's needed.
The weight of the contest would likely be a sticking point when it comes to negotiations, but if this particular fight did get made, it is one which promoter Eddie Hearn has claimed would fill a stadium whilst also continuing one of British boxing's most famous and heated rivalries.
Hamzah Sheeraz

Hamzah Sheeraz is one of the hottest names in world boxing.
He recently fought on the undercard of Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois in September, and he made easy work of the European middleweight champion, knocking down Tyler Denny twice before the contest was stopped in the second round.
A world title shot has to be next for Sheeraz, but one name which could put a temporary pause on this pursuit would be Eubank Jr due to the razzmatazz he brings to any fight he is involved in.
This has the potential to be a must-watch contest with both men looking to land a world title shot, and if the European title is on the line, then this could be just what's needed to achieve that dream.
Janibek Alimkhanuly

Unified middleweight champion Janibek Alimkhanuly is an avoided name in boxing, but he has often been linked with a fight against Eubank Jr.
Alimkhanuly is in action on October 4 when he defends his title against Andrei Mikhailovich, and if successful, maybe a meeting with the Brighton fighter could be next for the man from Kazakhstan.
However, time is ticking if the two are to clash for middleweight gold with Alimkhanuly previously showing struggles when it comes to making the 160lb limit.
Billy Joe Saunders

Billy Joe Saunders is another domestic rival for Eubank Jr after the pair clashed in 2014 for the British middleweight title, which the former won by split decision.
Since then the rivalry has not simmered with two frequently goading each other on social media and during interviews.
Whether a second meeting between the two will hinge on Saunders and his desire to return to boxing. The former WBO super middleweight champion has not fought since being beaten by Saul "Canelo" Alvarez in 2021 with radio silence from Saunders and his camp ever since.
