Carl Froch has responded to criticism from John Fury and has sent a stern warning to the father of WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury.
Froch has provided many opinions on Fury recently and with the unbeaten fighter recently pulling out of a showdown with Oleksandr Usyk, Froch had had his say on the cut suffered by Fury.
By questioning the circumstances surrounding the injury, Froch irked Fury Sr who went as far to challenge Froch to a fight at Wembley Stadium.
Froch, a former world champion at super-middleweight, has been retired for almost ten years, but he still possesses the confidence that made him a big success.
“The Cobra’s still in outrageous, chiselled shape. If you were stood across the ring from me with 10oz gloves on, it wouldn’t last very long,” said Froch on his YouTube channel.
“And if you’re talking about kicking me up the a—e and giving me a slap when you see me, that’s a totally different story. That’s a roll around on the cobbles, and trust me you don’t want to go there with me.”
