Carl Froch is adamant that Francis Ngannou shouldn't step foot inside a boxing ring again after being stopped by Anthony Joshua.
Despite taking on Tyson Fury and Joshua in his first two fights, Ngannou is 0-2 as a professional and his emphatic loss to Joshua has demonstrated how much Ngannou needs to improve.
Froch, a former world champion and now one of the most outspoken figures in boxing, believes the result should persuade Ngannou to call it a day when it comes to boxing.
Ngannou will have plenty of options across boxing and MMA, but his next move is still unconfirmed
“AJ deserves all the credit, he’s got in there, he’s done the business, he’s smashed Ngannou and that’s probably finished Ngannou’s career,” said Froch on his own YouTube channel.
“He’s made a few quid, he deserves respect, he’s gone in there with two of the best in the business, but we should never see him in the heavyweight ring, the boxing ring, ever again.”
