Caroline Dubois may have held on to her WBC and IBO lightweight titles last weekend, but she is ruling out the idea of sharing a bill with her brother.
Dubois' bout with Jessica Camara ended in a technical draw after a cut to the champion's left eye, with her undefeated record intact, as is her her reign with both belts.
The star's brother Daniel Dubois meanwhile is set to defend his IBF heavyweight title next month in a huge showdown with Joseph Parker - a fight you can see live on DAZN.
With both siblings dripping in world title gold, there has been speculation that they could share a card together in the future, but now Caroline has poured cold water on the notion.
“I think, looking in from the outside, it would be something really attractive," she told Sportsboom. "I get why people might talk about something like that, completely.Mark Robinson / Matchroom Boxing
“But, on a personal level, I wouldn’t like it. Personally, I think I’d find it a little bit weird.
“I can appreciate why people might want it to happen. But in the family, I think it would be awkward.
“I know it’s happened before, Gabriela Fundora and Sebastian Fundora, who are also both world champions, have fought before I believe.
“But, for me, I wouldn’t like to be on the same night as Daniel. We’re our own people. We’ve got our own achievements. We’re not a package.”
Any such deal, even if agreeable to both, would have to navigate the strained relationship between the pair's respective promoters.
Caroline is represented by BOXXER's Ben Shalom, while Daniel is under the stewardship of Frank Warren and Queensberry, with the two men frequently on antagonistic terms.
