Connor Butler is expecting a tough fight when he comes up against Jay Harris to contest the British, Commonwealth and European flyweight titles this Saturday, live on DAZN.
Butler is undefeated since becoming a professional six years ago, and last year he defeated Craig Derbyshire and Matt Windle as he scooped up the European and Commonwealth belts.
The winner between Butler and Harris will have a strong claim to challenge for a world title, and Butler is impatient to get into the ring.
“I was meant to fight in November, defending my Commonwealth title in Malta, but politics got in the way, and obviously we ended up settling on the Harris fight in February," he told the Liverpool Echo.
Butler expects the fight to go the distance, adding: "I am expecting a hard 12-round fight.
“But I think I have got every single answer that there is for whatever questions that he asks. I just think a lot of people are overlooking me because I look 10.
“They all say you look and this and that, but I think people forget that I have been in the support for 16 years and I have come across every single style. But I have an answer for everything, and I am the most adaptable fighter there is.”
