There could be a huge crossover event.

Chantelle Cameron could move over into MMA fighting as she waits for a trilogy rematch against Katie Taylor.

Cameron wants a third fight with both boxers claiming a victory each, with Cameron the only fighter to inflict a professional defeat on the Irish champion.

Taylor does not look to be desperate to get back in the ring to run it back once more, leaving Cameron with her options open when it comes to her schedule.

With PFL often looking to bring boxers, such as Claressa Shields, into the cage, Cameron has told The Mirror that she would be open to the switch.

"I'm interested, if the right offer was on my table, 100 percent. I was a kickboxing world champion and Thai boxing world champion. If I got a good offer I [would] definitely go into MMA. I think I'd be quite decent. Funnily enough, I actually went to a class last week and did an hour of grappling," she said.

"It was just something random, I enjoyed it. I went there and was wrestling loads of men, I had no idea what I was doing but it was good fun. Someone nearly choked me out, that was a bit scary! I had to tap. He was only a young lad but he got me in a good choke and I literally couldn't breathe, that was a bit embarrassing but I like a challenge.

Cameron said she would be up for a clash with MMA legend Cris Cyborg, who also has an undefeated record of 3-0 in the boxing ring.

She added: "The legend, Cris Cyborg. She is such a legend, if you want to compete then you have to compete against the very best so it would be an honour to compete in the cage against the likes of Cris Cyborg.”
