He is looking to get active once again.

Chris Eubank Jr. named five fighters that he would like to fight in the coming years.

Canelo Alvarez is the biggest name, with the Briton suggesting that May next year might be a feasible date to face the Mexican.

For now, Canelo is preparing to fight Edgar Berlanga on September 14, live on DAZN.

However, another world champion in Eubank’s sights is Terence Crawford, now a belt holder at junior middleweight.

A fellow middleweight, WBA champion Erislandy Lara, is also namechecked, and he could look to settle rivalries with Billy Joe Saunders and Conor Benn.

“There’s no secrets. The amount of names I have on my hitlist is incredible and it’s exciting,” he said, reported BoxingScene

“Domestically we have great fights. Conor Benn, Billy Joe Saunders, who I’d love to get my hands on.

“In the international seas, Canelo. Terence Crawford. Any of the world title holders in the middleweight division, Lara. The list is endless. Now we have the platform and the freedom to go and make these fights so over the next twelve months, watch this space."
