Even the "GWOAT" can use some advice.

Claressa Shields made it look easy, dropping Vanessa Lepage-Joanisse three times en route to a sensational second-round TKO to become the new WBC heavyweight world champion last month.

Well, during a recent interview with "The Breakfast Club,"  Shields revealed that WBC lightweight world champion Shakur Stevenson actually assisted her in her move up to heavyweight with priceless advice.

"I sent Shakur the sparring because [my sparring partner] had roughed me up. He said 'sis, you gotta use your frames more,'" Shields said.

"So when you see the punch after I knocked her down the first time and then I ran back on her again and I turned her — that's called a frame.

"So I framed her out to line her up with the right hand and that's all due to Shakur because he literally sent me a video and everything like 'this is what you need to be doing when somebody is crowding your space and you need to line them up for your shot.'"

Shields executed Stevenson's advice perfectly, lining up Lepage-Joanisse for a thunderous right hand knockdown.

As the conversation continued with "The Breakfast Club" continued, the "GWOAT" also explained why Stevenson and Terence Crawford are the only boxers she sends her sparring footage to.

"I only share my sparring clips with Shakur and Terence Crawford," Shields said. "I feel like Terence Crawford and Shakur are better boxers than me.

"Shakur feels like I got attributes that he wants and he has attributes that I want so I just kind of go back and forth with him."

Shields added: "Terence has that patience that I've been wanting for so long. I don't have too much patience in the ring. I go out the first round like 'let's scrap.' Terence will go in there, be patient for the first two or three rounds and then sleep you the fifth round."
