Conor Benn and Chris van Heerden go head-to-head on Saturday night live on DAZN.

Conor Benn and Chris Van Heerden have both made weight before their welterweight contest on Saturday night live on DAZN (except Australia and New Zealand).

Benn weighed in at 146.5lbs, while Van Heerden posted a weight of 145.8lbs before both men engaged in a long and tense face-off.

A win here for Benn would set him up for a fight against an established name in the welterweight division later this year.

In the chief support, Chris Billam-Smith and Tommy McCarthy sucessfully made weight ahead of their European and Commonwealth cruiserweight title fight. After both registered a weight of 199.5lbs, McCarthy attempted to shake Billam-Smith's hand, but 'The Gentleman' refused, further ramping up the excitement ahead of this much-anticipated rematch.

WBC and IBO women's super featherweight champion Alycia Baumgardner also made weight ahead of her first world title defence. Her opponent Edith Soledad Matthysse however cannot claim the two belts even if she wins on Saturday night after weighing in at 133.6lbs, which is 3.6lbs over the limit.
