Conor Benn calls out former world champion who fought Manny PacquiaoDAZN

Conor Benn has wasted little time in aiming high as he prepares to return to the ring.

The Essex man was supposed to fight Chris Eubank Jr last October, but the fight was postponed just days before the scheduled date due to an adverse finding in Benn’s drug test.

The unbeaten star has been inactive since.

Rumoured to be facing many opponents in recent weeks, full confirmation still doesn't exist when it comes to who will be in the opposite corner for Benn’s next bout.

Manny Pacquiao and Eubank Jr were linked recently, but Benn has welcomed the threat posed by Keith Thurman and he’s issued a challenge to the former world welterweight champion.

“Last time we tried to make the fight Keith Thurman said he didn’t know who I was,” said Benn when speaking to Boxing Social.

“Which is beyond me because everyone in the welterweight division knows who I am.

“Let’s make the fight, why not? He was meant to fighting Spence, Spence is showing no interest. If he wants to fight, I’m here to fight. I’ll fight him tomorrow.”
