Peter Dobson was well beaten by Conor Benn last weekend, but the brave New Yorker is eager to test himself against the British fighter for a second time.
Benn started brilliantly against Dobson, but he was made to work hard in the fight’s final stages as Dobson came on strong before hearing the final bell.
Following the Dobson win, Benn’s name has been linked to a number of high-profile fights against the likes of Chris Eubank Jr and Gervonta Davis.
It’s highly unlikely he revisits his fights with Dobson, but that hasnt stopped the recently beaten fighter from challenging Benn to a rematch.
“I want a rematch with a 10-week camp, but I doubt they will do it because they got a lot of money riding on the big fights,” said Dobson when speaking to Tru School Sports.
“I’m just happy for the opportunity man.”
