Conor Benn is far from certain that he will be able to agree to a fight with Chris Eubank Jr.
Benn fights at welterweight while Eubank Jr. is a middleweight and, at 32, seven years’ Benn’s senior, which makes moving down more than a division a struggle.
Similarly a move up for 160 might derail Benn’s longer term plans to secure a world championship in his current division, but there has been discussion of a catchweight compromise.
"It will be a catchweight, I suppose," Benn said, reported BoxingScene.com.
"But I won't lose no sleep over fighting him at 160. I won't lose no sleep. At all. I'll fight him next if that got presented to me. I'll have that fight any day of the week, twice on Sundays."
However, he cautioned: "I don't think he will take that fight.”
Benn is expected to fight this July as he positions himself for a title fight.
