Conor Benn targeting Adrien Broner for next fight

Conor Benn targeting Adrien Broner for next fightDAZN
Conor Benn is ready to move on following his latest victory,

Conor Benn, fresh from a dominant points win over Adrian Granados, has wasted no time in identifying his next target.

Adrien Broner, a four-weight world champion, is the man Benn wants to share the ring with next and he’s hopeful he can land a fight with the brash Ohioan this year.

In the last 12 months, Benn has made a steady leap up the welterweight rankings with wins over Sebastian Formella, Samuel Vargas and Granados, and the time is probably right to aim higher as he closes in on the division’s biggest names.

Broner, who returned to the ring for the first time in two years earlier this year when defeating Jovanie Santiago, has the profile that could make Benn’s popularity soar in America. Benn is willing to travel for the fight and is eager to make it his next battle.

"I'll have Broner next,” declared Benn when speaking with TalkSport. “I'll have Broner here at the O2, I'll have him at a stadium out in America, it doesn't bother me. Broner is definitely an opponent I’d love to fight and share the ring with this year.

“Four time world division champion, I won’t shy away from anybody and if he wants it, I’ll give it to him. That’s not a problem.”
