Conor McGregor tells Ryan Garcia to make one change for Gervonta 'Tank' Davis rematchDAZN

Conor McGregor gave advice to Ryan Garcia on a potential rematch with Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis.

While the Irish MMA fighter is known as an exceptional boxer in his own division, he has just one professional boxing fight to his name, a defeat to Floyd Mayweather Jr as ‘Money’ moved onto a 50-0 unbeaten record before he retired from the sport.

McGregor is taking time out after injury but is expected back in the cage in the coming months, and as a fight fan was in attendance for Tank vs. Garcia in Las Vegas last night.

Garcia lost to a seventh-round knockout, and spoke to McGregor after the fight.

McGregor advised the 24-year-old American to take the fight again, but without the controversial rehydration that was part of negotiations given Garcia’s extra height compared to Davis.

McGregor said: "He's 1-0 on you. You’re the two biggest names in the division, I wanna see it again. I wanna see it again now and I wanna see it with no rehydration clause.

"All the respect in the world to you, you’re the future."
