Another fight, another resounding knockout for Daniel Dubois to add to his growing highlight reel.
Dubois blasted Trevor Bryan with a left hook across the jaw for a fourth-round TKO victory at the Casino Miami in Miami on Saturday. The win gave Dubois the WBA (Regular) heavyweight championship which could bode well in helping to force a fight with the winner of the upcoming Oleksandr Usyk-Anthony Joshua rematch.
The 24-year-old Dubois loaded up on a left hook that rocked Bryan and put him on wobbly legs in the fourth round. Just over 30 seconds later and Dubois caught Bryan with a right uppercut, splitting his guard sharply. He came behind that with the left hook that crashed across Bryan's jaw to drop the American face first onto the canvas with a thud.
Just like that, Dubois improved to 18-1 with 17 knockouts as his share of the WBA heavyweight strap begs for a step up in competition.
