Darren Till was outstanding on his Misfits debut this past weekend as he scored an impressive stoppage over Anthony Taylor .
The Liverpool man had been expected to be facing Tommy Fury, but that bout was called off when Fury withdrew over fears Till may break the rules .
Instead, Till faced Taylor, and in his post-fight interview he made it clear that he was open to still facing Fury at some point in 2025.
As well as the younger Fury brother, Till has also had his say on Tyson Fury after the former heavyweight champion walked away from boxing last week .
Last month, Fury was defeated by Oleksandr Usyk for a second time , but nobody was aware that retirement was an option.
The consensus throughout the boxing industry was Fury would head into a big showdown with Anthony Joshua following their decade long rivalry, but those plans now seem distant.
Despite Fury’s major announcement, Till is not convinced we have seen the last of one of boxing’s biggest characters.

“We've seen Tyson retire 15 times. So how are we meant to take this seriously? He's retired, props to him, like for me, brilliant heavyweight. He’s done a lot for the sport, especially in the UK,” said Till when speaking to Fanvue.
“But it's like Conor McGregor, Conor's retired countless times and then comes back. It's like: is this publicity? Are you telling yourself you're gonna come back in 6 months, for fighters to let go like that… It's very hard.
“That's why most of them come back when they're 50 to fight. But why are you coming back when you're 50? Some of them have obviously made poor choices in terms of business, money, stuff like that.”
Darren was speaking in his new role as an ambassador for content creator platform, Fanvue where he will be sharing behind the scenes content and interacting with fans ahead of the fight this weekend.
