Dave Coldwell is expecting better versions of Derek Chisora and Joseph Parker when the heavyweight giants collide in a rematch on Saturday night. The fight, being screened live on DAZN, is set to be a battle that essentially leaves the loser with nowhere to go.
Coldwell, who was absent from Chisora’s corner when he lost to Parker in May, is delighted with the progress his fighter has made since being reunited with him earlier this year. As well as noticing differences with Chisora, he also anticipates Parker to improve following a lengthy camp with former world champion, Andy Lee.
“I think we’ll see a more aggressive and positive Joseph Parker from the first fight,” said Coldwell at the fight’s final press conference.
“I’m also seeing a better Chisora. When you have intelligence fighters, you see massive improvements from the first fights as fighters learn from mistakes. We’re going to see a better fight because the fighters will be better.”
