Both champion David Avanesyan and challenger Josh Kelly made weight for their European welterweight title fight on Saturday, and looked very good in the process.
Russia's Avanesyan hit the scales at 146.4lbs, comfortably below the 147lbs championship limit and slightly heavier than Sunderland's Kelly at 146lbs dead on.
Both fighters looked to be in great shape and showed no signs of ill-effects from making weight with room to spare, which is particularly impressive considering that neither man was able to fight in 2020 at all.
That said, it feels premature to say the fight is on until the opening bell sounds. The two have been attempting to get this contest done since late 2018, when they weighed in 24 hours before their initial showdown only for Kelly to be forced to withdraw the morning of the fight with illness.
Elsewhere, Albania's Florian Marku had some choice words for opponent Rylan Charlton as they stared down following their weigh-in for the 10-round chief support bout, also at welterweight. However, his face covering did a good job of obscuring exactly what was said.
Marku weighed 146.5lbs, again comfortably inside the welterweight 147lbs but not as much as Charlton who came in at just 144.4lbs. Both competitors are undefeated so far as professionals, with one draw apiece.
The IBF Intercontinental super-lightweight belt will be up for grabs, as well as a spot in the 140lbs top 15, when Robbie Davies Jr. takes on Gabriel Valenzuela over 10 rounds. The Mexican weighed in at 138.5lbs to Davies' 138.1lbs.
Meanwhile 6'5" heavyweight debutant Johnny Fisher hit the scales at 237.6lbs, considerably lighter than his first ever professional opponent Matt Gordon who gave a reading of 241.6lbs for their four-rounder.
And in the main show opener, Jordan Gill (125.3lbs) faces Cesar Juarez (125.1lbs) over 10 rounds with the WBA International featherweight title on the line.
