David Benavidez had to climb off the floor to defeat David Morrell , but does he consider the Cuban the biggest puncher he has ever faced?
The Arizona fighter won unanimously in Las Vegas as he maintained his unbeaten record moving closer to a world title shot at light-heavyweight.
Benavidez was the busier fighter throughout and that industry was enough to see him through to the scorecards in his toughest fight to date.

Despite taking the nod in the fight, Benavidez was made to work hard throughout and that included absorbing a knockdown in the contest’s penultimate round.
The former super-middleweight world champion rebounded well in the final session, but the shot from Morrell will give confidence to the likes of Canelo Alvarez and Artur Beterbiev who could both face Benavidez in the future.
After sharing the ring with the likes of Caleb Plant and David Lemieux, Benavidez knows what it takes to get in with a fighter with heavy hands, but is Morrell now the most powerful he has shared a ring with?
“I know how to work a 12-round fight. He hit harder than anyone I faced, but I hit harder. I showed what level I’m on,” said Benavidez after the fight.
“I was bigger and stronger and a better dancer. I took control of the fight immediately. I can attack every corner of the body. This is ‘Monster’s world.”
