Ahead of Anthony Joshua's hotly anticipated return to the ring against Jermaine Franklin, Joshua has teamed up with DAZN to develop an exclusive range of merchandise and launch a charity auction.
The two-time former world heavyweight champion takes on Franklin at London's O2 Arena on April 1 in a bout that can be seen worldwide on DAZN, and on Monday he launched co-branded merchandise with the world’s destination platform for sports fans that includes t-shirts, hoodies and hats. The new line is available exclusively at DAZNBoxing.shop.
Also featured in the launch is the start of a charity auction in support of Warming Welcoming Space, a charity in Joshua's hometown of Watford that encourages organisations to open their doors for those struggling to heat their homes.
The auction gives fans the opportunity to win a fight-night package for Joshua vs. Franklin that includes VIP tickets for the big fight, access to the press conference, and a signed pair of AJ’s gloves.
Bidding is open at DAZNBoxing.shop and will close 29 March.
“This is one of the many reasons I am excited to have signed up with DAZN for my next five years of activity," Joshua said.
"Not only are they committed to giving me a fantastic platform for my upcoming fights, they are innovating in a variety of ways to bring sports and athletes closer to the fans, and give them what they want.
"The merch we have developed together is quality, and I hope my fans like it. And to kick it all off with an auction supporting Warm Welcoming Spaces, a charity that’s doing great work helping people get some relief during the cost-of-living crisis, is fantastic.
