Demetrius Andrade calls out Charlo twins: I’m ready for anyone who wants to put on a big showDAZN

It's been 14 months since he last fought, but former WBO world middleweight champion Demetrius Andrade is finally ready to lace up the gloves once more on Saturday night when he takes on Demond Nicholson.

This will be Andrade's first fight at super middleweight after failing to secure a date with the likes of Gennadiy Golovkin at 160lbs, and now he is hoping he can land a contest with the some of the major players at 168lbs.

Speaking at a media workout in Washington D.C. on Wednesday, Andrade expressed his desire to face a number of domestic rivals including the undisputed light middleweight champion Jermell Charlo.

"I want to give the sport what they’re looking for. Because that’s also what I want with myself. Me and Jermall Charlo have had this rivalry brewing for years," Andrade said.

"It’s nothing but respect, but I want to take care of it in the ring. Who else is calling him out the way I am?

“I want the Charlo twins, I want David Benavidez and Caleb Plant. I’m ready for anyone who wants to put on a big show.”

Andrade's clash with Nicholson is a part of a card at Washington's Capital One Arena which is headlined by Gervonta 'Tank' Davis' clash with Hector Luis Garcia.
