Deontay Wilder hits out at heavyweight rival - 'He was a made fighter'DAZN
Deontay Wilder is back in the ring this month.

Deontay Wilder can take another step closer to securing a bout with Anthony Joshua when he faces Joseph Parker on December 23.

Wilder will appear on the same card as his longtime rival for the first time in his career and if Joshua can get past Otto Wallin later on that night, it’s a real possibility him and Wilder will collide next year.

For many years, Joshua vs. Wilder has been the fight to make at heavyweight and the pair’s rivalry has dominated large parts of the heavyweight scene for the last decade.

Both men are former world champions looking to collect belts again, but a contest between the two is so big that world titles might not be necessary.

With the event in Saudi Arabia fast approaching, Wilder hasn’t held back when discussing the credentials of Joshua.

“I’ve said it many times before, and I’ll say it again, it’s a difference between champions being born and being made,” said Wilder on The Last Stand podcast

“Joshua was made, you understand me? He was a made fighter. They bought things, they gave him things.”
