Deontay Wilder is not sure how Anthony Joshua is approaching his fight with Otto Wallin.
Wallin and Joshua meet at the Day of Reckoning in Saudi Arabia, shown live on DAZN PPV on December 23.
Joshua, a two-time world champion, is the favourite going into that match after two wins in 2023 helped his rebuild after back-to-back defeats to Oleksandr Usyk.
Many believe that Wilder will be Joshua’s next opponent, providing Joshua gets past Wallin and the "Bronze Bomber" wins his own match-up, against Joseph Parker on the same card.
Speaking to TNT Sports, Wilder thinks that Joshua has a lot to handle going into the fight.
He explained: “I had a lot of media today asking me about his behaviour. I said y’all putting a lot of pressure on him.
“He’s got to focus on Otto Wallin, because Otto Wallin 100% is focused on him.
“I don’t know where Joshua’s mind is, I’m not him, I don’t know what he’s thinking about. Maybe it’s all a facade, maybe he’s ready.
“Maybe he’s calm, maybe he’ll prove people wrong. But at this time if I could encourage him ,and I could tell him something, I would tell him don’t worry.”
