With nearly 50 fights to his name in a professional career that has spanned almost 20 years, Derek Chisora has seen a lot in boxing.
So having witnessed Jared Anderson suffer his first pro loss earlier this month at the heavy hands of Martin Bakole, Chisora wants the American heavyweight to know that he can bounce back from the crushing defeat which had him sent to the canvas three times toward the devastating fifth-round TKO.
"Can he come back? I think he can come back," Chisora told Seconds Out recently. "He just has to change his trainer — that's it."
He added: "I don't know why people always think when you lose a fight, your career is finished. It's a setback."
That's when Chisora even offered to roll out a blueprint for the 24-year-old Anderson to follow to get his career back on track.
"He can come back on a 10-rounder. He's still there, bro," Chisora said. "He can fight Gerald Washington. If he wants to take a big risk, he can fight Deontay Wilder in Vegas and then after that he can fight Andy Ruiz.
"There's so many big fights for him. He can come back, bro."
Chisora, who has experienced a career resurgence of late having won two big fights including a unanimous decision upset of Joe Joyce late last month, even offered for Anderson to spend some time with him.
